Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Wrapchik app, run by the Wrapchik restaurant on our college campus. By ordering through the app, you agree to them.

Who can use Wrapchik

Wrapchik serves one college campus. You need a working phone number to sign in, and you should be ordering for yourself or someone on campus. Keep your phone secure — orders placed from your account are treated as yours.

Placing an order

• Prices shown in the app include everything you pay. What you see at checkout is the final amount.
• An order is confirmed only once payment has been received and verified by our server. Until then it is not in the kitchen queue.
• Menu items can run out. If we cannot make something after you have paid, we will tell you and refund that item.
• Give the correct hostel and phone number. We cannot deliver to a wrong address, and we cannot chase an unreachable phone.

Waitlist and busy periods

The kitchen handles a limited number of orders at once. When it is full you can join the waitlist instead of paying immediately. When a slot opens we notify you and hold it for a short window. If you do not pay within that window, the slot passes to the next person and you keep your place in line for the following one. Wait times shown in the app are estimates, not promises.

Payment

Payment is by UPI through Paytm, our payment gateway. If money leaves your account but the app does not show a confirmed order, do not pay again — contact us with the transaction reference and we will sort it out.

Cancellations and refunds

• You can cancel while the order is still awaiting payment, at no cost.
• Once the kitchen has started cooking, an order generally cannot be cancelled, because the food has already been made.
• If we cancel your order, cannot deliver it, or get it wrong, you get a refund for the affected items.
• Refunds go back through Paytm to the account you paid from. Depending on your bank, they usually take a few working days to appear.
• If something is wrong with your food, tell us the same day — email wrapchik2@gmail.com or come to the counter. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Delivery

Delivery staff bring orders to hostels in batches, so times vary with how busy we are. The estimate in the app updates as the queue moves. Please be reachable on the phone number you gave when your order is out for delivery. If we cannot reach you and the food goes cold at your hostel gate, we cannot refund it.

Using the app properly

Please do not place fake orders, try to break or overload the app, use someone else's account, or abuse our staff. We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Availability

Wrapchik runs during the restaurant's opening hours and depends on the campus network and our payment and messaging providers. We try to keep it up, but we cannot promise the app will always be available or error-free.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for the food we make and for delivering the order you paid for. We are not responsible for losses beyond that — for example a missed class or event because an order ran late. Nothing here removes rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to order after an update means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
